Meet Tim Sigler, LICSW

 Tim is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with 15 years of experience in behavioral health. He has worked with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, grief, family conflict, life transitions, and other difficult or uncertain periods.

 

North Haven Wellness brings Tim’s counseling, clinical supervision, and consultation work together in one practice. Across all three, he brings the same approach: honest conversation, practical support, and time to understand what is happening before deciding what comes next.

Approach to Work

Tim’s work draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed approaches.

 

Tim has particular experience working with veterans, including veterans involved in the criminal justice system. He also welcomes LGBTQIA+ clients and people seeking support with identity, values, relationships, or decisions that may not fit neatly into a diagnosis.

 

Beyond Individual Counseling

Tim also works with the people and organizations that provide behavioral health services. His clinical supervision is available to professionals developing their skills and working through questions that come up in practice. Through consultation, North Haven Wellness can help organizations with needs such as EHR auditing, billing and credentialing, grant writing, and nonprofit or government services.
